Fans left worried by Christine’s hospital pic
CHRISTINE McGuinness has sparked concern after sharing a selfie showing her wearing an oxygen mask in a hospital bed.
The model, wife of comedian and presenter Paddy, posted the picture on Instagram along with a worrying message.
She told fans not to worry – but didn’t reveal what it was all about.
Christine managed a thumbs up in the picture, in which she is lying down and wearing a hospital gown.
She said: “Please hear me when I say ‘I am very well so please don’t worry’ I just had a little snooze, honestly it wasn’t long enough.
“But whilst I’m lay here, I’ll take a selfie and send a little reminder to stay strong.
“Live, laugh and love every day. Be kind always, you never know what people are dealing with behind their smile.”
Fans rushed to comment with messages of support.
Gareth378mufc wrote: “Stay strong lovely.”
Mrsweasleycullen said: “Hopefully you will be right as rain soon and back to your babies. Xx” And brooktech commented: “Omg.. hope you’re ok sweetie. I love seeing your photos but not when you’re in the hospital bed. Hope you’re out soon and feeling better.”
Not everyone was quite so sympathetic though, with one commenter saying: “Kinda guessed you were ok with the staged pic.. make up done, eyes closed, oxygen mask, thumbs up, gown pulled down.. making a mockery of those who are genuinely sick..”
