United fan ‘stabbed in Paris’
A UNITED supporter is reportedly seriously ill in hospital in France after being stabbed following the team’s Champions League victory against Paris Saint-Germain.
There have been unconfirmed reports the man had been in a taxi and was attacked after the driver pulled over.
Sky Sports News claimed the 44-yearold was stabbed in the chest and was undergoing emergency surgery.
The man, who hasn’t been named, was reportedly taken to a high dependency unit at Hopital Europeen Georges-Pompidou, in Paris.
The channel said he was with friends in the taxi singing songs when the driver stopped the car and told them to get out.
