A TEENAGE boy was cut with a meat cleaver after a brawl broke out between school pupils.

The 15-year-old boy suffered cuts to his leg following the fight which took place on Burnley Lane, Chadderton, in Oldham.

A police spokesman said his injuries are not thought to be serious.

Mobile phone footage emerged of the fracas, which GMP have confirmed they have been made aware of. The clip, shared widely on social media, shows a big group of students gathered around two boys.

They start throwing punches and the pair drop to the floor, while other youths surround them and join in.
