Magali ready for reality TV return

-

SHE made the decision to leave the hit ITVBe reality series The Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2016 - but now Magali Gorre is hoping to make a full-time comeback.

Magali told the Manchester Evening News that she’s in talks over returning to the show next year, buoyed by the support from her fans on social media who launched the ‘bring Magali back’ hashtag, and she’s excited about the prospect of returning to our screens.

And the mother-of-three has laid down a tongue-in-cheek challenge to newcomer Leilani, the former glamour model and partner of The Cult rock star Billy Duffy.

Magali, the wife of Suriname national football team coach Dean Gorre who has three sons aged 15, 23 and 24, said: “I like Leilani but people want to see something that’s interesting.

“My husband is working away a lot so I know what it’s like to be a single mum. Cheshire wants me back and if I come back I will ruffle feathers. I’m a rock star.”

Straight-talking Magali left the show in 2016, announcing that she wanted to spend more time with her own family following the passing of her father the previous year.

But the door was left open for her return to the Real Housewives, which follows the lives of the wealthy Cheshire set.

During the 10th series, which started on Monday, Magali will return in a special to celebrate the 100th episode along with other past Housewives Leanne Brown, Stacey Forsey, Nermina PietersMekic and Lauren Simon.

Magali, an author and magazine columnist, filmed in front of a green screen while recalling her time on the show.

“My fans have always wanted me back but it was never the right time to come back before,” she told us.

“I have a story to tell and I wanted to come back and talk about the show. I think my fans will go wild.

“I’ll have to see now what’s happening in January and I can’t say any more than that. I think I should be on the show. I opened it and I closed my last episode.

“I never got a reunion show and I never got closure. I say it like it is and I represent women of colour.”

Magali’s son Kenji has followed in his dad’s footsteps as a footballer. He used to play for Manchester United and now plays for the Curacao international squad and his brother Quinten is a singer.

After leaving the show glam Magali gave five lucky fans the chance to win a fine dining experience with her.

One winner, after explaining the reason why they wanted to meet Magali, travelled from London for the meal at Belle Epoque, Knutsford, Magali’s favourite Cheshire restaurant and the scene of many of the explosive arguments between the reality TV star ladies.
