Fitness vow Katie’s saying ‘no’ to cake
KATIE McGlynn has showed off the results of her body transformation on a night out away from the Coronation Street cobbles. The actress looked toned and healthy as she headed out on the town before her final scenes as Sinead Osbourne in Coronation Street.
The Rochdale star looked chic in a black jumpsuit with gold buttons as she arrived at a launch event.
Katie, 26, has revealed that she’s back in the gym and undergoing a body transformation with Ultimate Performance after her fitness took a backseat while she was so busy filming.
And she says her willpower is ‘definitely kicking in’ as she recently attended a baby shower surrounded by cakes, pizza and fizz but didn’t give in to temptation.
“Usually when I have trained I think well fudge it and give into the cake! But not this time!” she said on Instagram, followed with the hashtag “#saynotothecake.”
Sharing photos of herself working out with a personal trainer she said: “After a busy year of filming, my fitness has really taken a backseat and I don’t feel 100 per cent myself so I’ve decided it’s time to hit the reset button!
“Over the next few months I’m challenging both my mind and body - solely focusing on my training and nutrition.
“I’ve trained at U.P. for years and completely fell in love with it, so I’m really excited to get stuck in again...”
Katie had flashbulbs popping as she was joined by former Hollyoaks actress Jazmine Franks and reality TV star Jemma Lucy at Jessica Megan Studios in Leigh.
