ANGRY TEENAGER LAUNCHED 3AM ATTACK ON LOVE RIVAL OVER ‘SHARED’ BOYFRIEND

- By SOPHIE WHEELER

TWO teenagers had a 3am brawl inside an all-night service station after one of them discovered they had been ‘sharing’ the same boyfriend.

The violent encounter ended up with police using CS gas and officers being scratched with manicured nails as they tried to bring order – while the arrest was filmed by ‘jeering’ friends of the victim.

Barmaid Katie Frost, 18, had been drowning her sorrows when she unexpectedly encountered love rival SafariLeigh Paton while queuing up to buy chocolate at the end of an eight-hour drinking session.

Stockport magistrates court heard the women initially looked daggers at each other before trainee hair stylist Miss Paton, also 18, asked: “Did you have a problem?’’ to which mum-ofone Frost replied: “Yes I do – he’s been with me since I was 14 weeks pregnant!’’

Then as Miss Paton turned and walked away, cuckolded Frost grabbed her by the strap of her handbag and pulled to the floor before punching her about the head and pulling her hair.

Friends managed to separate the teenagers after Miss Paton screamed for help but Frost then used her manicured nails to turn on police called to the deal with the late night duel at the 24-hour BP garage in Knutsford, Cheshire. As a policewoman tried to place Frost in handcuffs she said: “Get the f*** off me you gay little c***.’’ Officers had to call for back up to take her away as they struggled to restrain her for more than an hour. The teenager eventually had to be carried to a patrol van and she subsequently bashed her head repeatedly against the interior wall despite being sprayed with CS gas.

Miss Paton suffered bruising in the incident while two officers suffered minor scratches. The boyfriend named in court only as ‘Bradley’ was not present but is still thought to be in an ‘onoff relationship’ with Frost.

Frost, who lives with her mother in Knutsford, was ordered to pay Miss Paton £50 compensation after she admitted common assault. She also pleaded guilty to common assault on two police officers and was ordered to pay them a total of £100 damages.

The incident occurred on October 5 after Frost, who has a 12-month-old daughter, had been out drinking with friends from 6pm until 2am.

Frost was also sentenced to a community order for 12 months and was ordered to complete 120 hours unpaid work. She was also ordered to pay £90 in costs. Vic Wozny, defending, said: “My client has expressed to me she apologised for being here and wishes not to be here again.”
