Fireworks on Twitter as Shell launches rocket

ACTRESS FIRES BACK AT SARCASTIC REPLY TO QUESTION

-

FORMER Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has hit back at a follower on Twitter after they gave a sarcastic reply to her question about fireworks.

Michelle, from Irlam, Salford, took to social media to ask fans for their advice on what to do about dogs who are scared of fireworks.

“Anyone else’s dog terrified of fireworks??? Feel so helpless... any advice??” she asked.

And she fired back at a follower who accused her of asking a ‘silly question.’

“90% of dogs are, what a silly question to ask Mich,” the follower replied.

And this appeared to annoy Michelle, who played barmaid Tina McIntyre in Corrie.

She replied: “Well that’s b ****** s cause I have three dogs and only one reacts badly to them! There’s always one d***head.”

“That’s a good feisty Northern response, that told him!” said another follower.

“Well said,” another told her. Michelle, who plays Erin in the Sky One comedy drama Brassic and army medic Lance Corporal Georgie Lane in the BBC One drama Our Girl, went on to receive the advice she was looking for.

“Me too. One dog okay, the other one terrified.

“Sit your dog on your knee and hug it tight. When it hears fireworks it will associate hugging with safety. Vet told me that and it’s working a treat. The key is making them feel safe,” suggested one follower.

And former EastEnders actor Danny Hatchard wrote: “Adaptil pheromone is good, you can get it online.

“That and just keep the windows and curtains closed and put some chilled music on to help drown out the banging x”
