Are the stars out tonight?

-

THERE’S a Dame and a Sir and plenty of Hollywood glamour making welcome appearances on Graham’s sofa tonight.

The Brits are represented by musical legend and Oscar winner Dame Julie Andrews, and acting icon and X-Man Sir Ian McKellen. And there’s American showbiz royalty in the shape of Jennifer Aniston and Reece Witherspoon.

Dame Julie – aka Fraulein Maria aka Mary Poppins – is on to plug her latest book, a memoir of her 65 years in showbiz, covering her arrival in Tinseltown and her rapid rise to fame, picking up awards and meeting her filmmaker husband Blake Edwards.

Sir Ian is always good value on any chat show, thanks to his hilarious anecdotes and often uncanny impressions of his friends and co-stars. And he could well have a tale or two to tell about Dame Helen Mirren, his co-star in new film The Good Liar, playing a conman who woos a wealthy widow online and tries to fleece her.

Graham will no doubt quiz Jen on her recent breaking of the internet, when she joined Instagram and posted a picture of all the Friends cast happily reunited, and sent millions of fans into meltdown.

She’s back on the small screen alongside Big Little Lies’ Reece Witherspoon in the new Apple+ TV series The Morning Show, playing rival anchors on a news show dealing with the fall-out when their male co-star is sacked for sexual misconduct.

And the music comes from Dua Lipa, performing her new single Don’t Start Me.
