It’s time to dig deep for Sport Relief as Lee Mack and Jason Isaacs star in Line Of Duty sketch and celebrities do boat race battle

-

MOTHER of God, will Line of Duty fans finally find out the identity of ‘H’? Why are there Steves everywhere being chased by a blonde assassin? And can Romesh Ranganathan beat a sportsman in a round of mini golf?

The answers to all these questions will be revealed during tonight’s extravaganza in aid of Sport Relief.

Live from Salford, we’ve been promised a stellar line-up of funny sketches including a parody of Killing Eve – Killing Steves – and a ‘deleted scene’ from Line of Duty starring corrupt cop Jason Isaacs and his idiot lawyer Lee Mack.

Also, Sir Andy Murray takes on comedian Romesh for a round of golf and the scenic setting of Salford Quays welcomes back the Clash of the Channels Boat Race – this time with celebrity rowing teams from Channel 4 and Sky in tow, to give BBC and ITV a row for their money.

New faces Alex Scott, Oti Mabuse, Emma Willis, Tom Allen, Maya Jama and Rylan Clark-Neal join Gary Lineker and Paddy McGuinness on presenting duties.

Sue Barker hosts a special A Question Of Sport Relief, while AJ and Curtis Pritchard front some dance routines to get the nation moving.

You can see what happened during an all-star netball match, featuring Jennifer Saunders and Oti Mabuse as captains and viewers will find out the result of the public vote for the best ever Sport Relief sketch, with nominees including Beckham in Peckham and Smithy at SPOTY.

And, of course, there will be appeal films throughout to encourage viewers to dig deep for a worthy cause.
