Businesses, we are with you

- By LUCY ROUE

AROUND the world we are facing something that none of us have ever experienced before.

This coronavirus crisis is having an immeasurable impact on normal life including for businesses across Greater Manchester.

We understand it is a worrying time as many face an uncertain future. However, our message is clear – we are all in this together.

The parent company of the M.E.N., Reach, has launched a new initiative to support Greater Manchester’s business community throughout the crisis.

It centres on a public declaration to local businesses that we will do our utmost to support them through this difficult time.

#ThereWithYou is a promise that we are here to support local businesses with a raft of free products and solutions they can use to combat the challenges they face.

They include the creation of free promotional videos and website landing pages, plus complimentary creative and consultancy services. Now, more than ever, the M.E.N. can be a powerful force for good in helping businesses through difficult times.

Reach’s media portfolio includes the Daily Mirror and Daily Express, more than 30 regional daily titles and 96 weeklies – as well as 65 news websites. Those titles are viewed by more than 47 million people every month.

This support package has been designed to meet the needs of all businesses, regardless of industry and location, and is supplemented by a range of discounted packaged solutions comprising social media advertising, print advertising and content marketing.

Editor-in-chief Darren Thwaites said: “We understand what a uniquely difficult time this is for local companies and we want to do all we can to support them through this period of uncertainty. It’s a tough time for everyone but we’re in this together. We’ve been there with the businesses of Greater Manchester for more than 150 years - and we’re there with you now.”

Tom Harte, sales director for the North West, added: “I would encourage any business to speak to one of our team so we can share experiences and the support opportunities we have at this time.” So, help us to help you.
