Amoria Bond recruit Gary as chairman

A RECRUITMEN­T firm specialisi­ng in the technology, life sciences, engineerin­g and energy sectors has appointed Gary Elden, the former CEO of SThree PLC, as its new chairman.

Gary joined Amoria Bond in January to further strengthen the board’s ambition to grow its internatio­nal footprint.

The Manchester-headquarte­red company currently has operations in the UK, Netherland­s, Germany and Singapore.

It provides services in contract/ freelance, management consultanc­y, permanent and executives­earch with 800 profession­als on client sites in over 30 countries.

Gary has nearly 30 years experience in the staffing industry. He joined SThree during its early years layer serving as company CEO for seven years.

During his tenure he grew

SThree’s global headcount by 40 per cent, increased gross profit by 55pc and doubled both turnover and profitabil­ity.

Gary said: “I’ve been watching the rise of Amoria Bond with interest over the last few years, and have been really impressed by their success in establishi­ng themselves as an internatio­nal industry leader in specialist recruitmen­t consultanc­y services.

“Their growth and financial results have been impressive from day one, and I look forward to working with the board as chairman to help them take the business through the next stages of growth.”

David Etheringto­n also joins Amoria Bond as a non-executive advisor to the board having worked within the staffing industry for more than 25 years.
