TRANSFORMERS VS TERMINATOR #1
THE thing I love about comics is that anything is possible.
This week’s weird crossover is Transformers Vs Terminator, which sees those giant Robots in Disguise come face-to-face with an unstoppable killer.
This four-part miniseries is set in 1984, with Skynet and Cybertron’s finest on a collision course for disaster.
Transformers Vs Terminator #1 is out now priced £4.50.
A ROSE IS A ROSE
DOCTOR Who fans got a pleasant surprise over the weekend from former series helmer Russell T Davies.
To mark the 15th anniversary of the show’s revival, the producer teased a never-before seen chapter to the story, Rose.
The story, which follows the end of the Time War, solves a plot hole which has been bugging fans for a while – how could Christopher Eccleston’s Doctor only be 900 years old?
Much to fans’ delight, the 10-minute tale – Revenge of the Nestene – was released on YouTube, and more than lives up to expectations.
BYE, BYE BOX OFFICE
THESE unprecedented times have seen studios shuffling movies around in a bid to save their blockbusters for the big screen.
But some of the smaller releases have been given debuts on the smaller screen.
Universal’s The Invisible Man, which premiered on February 28, is already available to rent on demand – as is its Blumhouse stable mate The Hunt.
Vin Diesel’s latest actioner, Bloodshot, has found a home on Amazon Home Premiere, alongside Military Wives, and Jane Austen’s Emma.
While you can only rent some of the titles for 48 hours, you can actually buy Bloodshot outright for £13.99 ... although I’m not sure if you’d want to.
