Hatch back thanks to click and collect
STREET food village Hatch is welcoming back its traders as it launches a new click and collect service.
The colourful collection of shipping containers beneath the Mancunian Way is home to vendors including Fuku, Mezze and Herbivorous, who started serving takeaways yesterday.
KBOM will also reopen today, followed by Parmogeddon on June 25.
Customers can pre-order and pay for their feast via the Good Eats website - with the option to mix and match dishes across any of the menus.
Meals will be ready to collect at the Hatch site on Oxford Road, where a specially-designed and distanced waiting area will be in operation in the courtyard.
A member of the Hatch team will notify traders when customers arrive and the orders will be delivered to the waiting area ready for customers to collect and take home.
All traders will be operating under Covid-secure regulations and have completed risk assessments ahead of opening.
The Hatch click and collect service will be open from noon until 9pm, Thursday to Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.

Hatch and its 26 independent food and drink traders and retailers closed in March.
Andrea George, retail director at Bruntwood Works, which owns and operates Hatch, said: “The closure of the site has been devastating for the small, independent, creative businesses that make up the Hatch family and so we’re working closely with them to support a safe and gradual reopening of the Hatch neighbourhood.
“Our click and collect model is the first step in that process and we’re delighted to be welcoming the traders back from Thursday.”
