Chiefs warn of risk of second wave

-

WE can’t stay indoors forever. The economy has to kick in, but the shielded need to keep shielded as they’re much more likely to suffer severe problems. Healthy people are most likely to recover at home. It’s the winter months ahead when I think we’ll feel it more than now.

JUST because lockdown is easing rules it doesn’t mean you have to go out there and live as if the virus has gone. It hasn’t. People saying ‘go out and live your life’ and then die? It’s very easy to take a selfish approach but what about other people?

DO people actually read the article or just the headline? Seriously! We can’t stay locked up forever, it’s been three months now with a lot people suffering the effects of no income, no school, an uncertain future! What are we meant to do? Danny Quinn

PEOPLE are so fickle. We needed a hard lockdown with consequences, not that half-hearted rubbish we had where no one actually bothered to distance. Of course it’s going to spike! July will see people coming together in pubs and restaurants, sharing rides and space in theme parks, and then those people are going to go to work and spread it all about. Sarah Caldecott

I’M actually terrified of a second wave but at the same time I understand we cannot live like this forever. I’m shielding’ I have COPD and asthma and being ho,me was easy for me but seriously, corona isn’t just going to go away and we all need to try to learn to live with it. Extra care measures, up your hygiene and only be around people if you need too.
