machete thug chopped off diner’s hand after staring at him in mcdonald’s pervert in sex act by primary school

DAD-OF-ONE JAILED FOR HORRIFIC RANDOM ATTACK ON IT WORKER

A THUG who took a machete to McDonald’s before almost totally amputating another customer’s hand has been jailed.

Jordan Hughes, 22, went out in the middle of the night with the huge 15-inch blade hidden down his trousers. He carried out the horrifying attack on Samuel Liggett, 20, who needed 12 hours of surgery to reattach his left hand.

Hughes later posted a picture of himself spattered in blood on Snapchat – ‘revelling’ in what he had done. A court was told Mr Liggett and three friends went to the McDonald’s in Winwick Road, Warrington, in the early hours of Saturday, March 7.

Katy Appleton, prosecuting, said Hughes stared at the group of two males and two females, before both parties left at around 3am.

As they walked on opposite sides of the road, he randomly shouted ‘shut the f*** up,’ then ran across the street. Hughes pulled out the machete and slashed at Mr Liggett, who raised his arms to protect his face and neck.

Mr Liggett, an IT worker, said what happened ‘was a blur’ and that he was just ‘minding my own business, talking to my mates.’

He said he may have told Hughes to ‘p*** off’ and initially thought the machete in his hand was an umbrella. Hughes started slashing with ‘overhead strikes’ and the victim, whose ‘instinct kicked in,’ tried to disarm him.

However, after pushing Hughes away he ‘started to feel weird’ and ran off as the armed thug initially chased after him.

Ms Appleton told Liverpool Crown Court: “He describes feeling a strange, warm trickle feeling down his arm. It was when he got back to McDonald’s and lifted up his fingerless gloves, that he saw the extent of the injuries and realised the gravity of the situation.”

She said he told police: “As far as I was concerned, he was trying to kill me because you don’t attack a person with a weapon not trying to kill them.”

Ms Appleton said a medical report recorded ‘near total amputation of his left hand.’ Doctors said he had since made ‘minimal progress,’ cannot extend his wrist and has minimal range of movement.

Later that day at 12.50pm, police were called to reports of a large group fighting with weapons in the street outside Hughes’ home in Calgarth Avenue, Bewsey. Officers searched his property and found bloodstained clothing and bedding, but when arrested and interviewed, he said this was caused by him falling over and cutting his knee.

Hughes said he had been drinking Corona before going to McDonald’s, but denied having a machete or being involved in any attack. However, Mr Liggett’s ex-girlfriend came across a Snapchat story uploaded by Hughes.

Ms Appleton said: “This story was a picture of him, with blood splattered to his face, and he had quoted underneath it ‘just got stabbed in the head LOL.’.

“She described him as smirking in the picture. The next picture was of his leg which had a large gash to it.” She saved a conversation when she asked Hughes ‘were you actually stabbed’ and he replied ‘yeah hahaha.’ Hughes denied wounding with intent and possessing a bladed article in public, only to later plead guilty. Jeremy Rawson, defending, said dadof-one Hughes was ‘a rather unremarkable man who has done something which is really out of character.’

Judge Gary Woodhall rejected a suggestion Hughes was remorseful and said he targeted Mr Liggett ‘for no discernible reason.’

He said Hughes was dangerous and jailed him for 12 years, with an extended three years on licence. He must spend at least two thirds of the sentence – eight years – behind bars before he is eligible for parole. The judge also made an indefinite restraining order to protect the victim.

A sEriAL sex offender has been back in court after being caught performing an indecent act near a primary school playground.

Marcin Bialoskorski, 27, was spared prison last month after admitting five counts of exposure, where one of his victims was a 15-year-old girl who was walking to school in Eccles, salford.

Now, Bialoskorski has appeared before a judge again after admitting outraging public decency.

Manchester Minshull street Crown Court heard how on November 27 last year, an assistant at st Matthew’s primary school in stretford spotted the defendant looking towards the playground.

Prosecutors said he then performed a sex act upon himself within his trousers.

there was ‘no suggestion’ that children saw what was happening, the court heard.

When Bialoskorski appeared at Manchester Crown Court last month, he was spared jail and sentenced to a two-year community order.

Now Judge Angela Nield has revoked the order and re-sentenced him.

For the previous five counts, he was handed a community order for three years.

this is made up of 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 150 hours of unpaid work.

Bialoskorski, of spring Gardens, salford was also made subject of a sexual harm Prevention order and must sign the sex offenders register for five years.
