THE CHOIR: SINGING FOR BRITAIN Tuesday, BBC2, 9pm THIS series has done a good job of bringing socially distant singers together through the power of video calling. Gareth Malone lifts the spirits as he collaborat­es with key workers and hears stories of unsung heroism and uplifting optimism.

GEORGE CLARKE’S AMAZING SPACES Wednesday, Channel 4, 9pm the world of small builds. In the third episode, he meets a couple crafting a magical den for their toddler with a helping hand from a grandparen­t, while an aircraft technician turns a jet engine’s housing into a unique camper.

ROSS KEMP: LIVING WITH FORCED OUT FAMILIES

THE film-maker investigat­es how the housing crisis has resulted in some vulnerable families agreeing to be moved by local councils – sometimes many miles away from loved ones – just to keep a roof over their heads. He hears from families in Bradford who say that refusing an offer of accommodat­ion 200 miles away would bring about shocking repercussi­ons. Last in the series.

JAMIE OLIVER cooks up four more swift and tasty dishes, including his Sicilian tuna pasta – one of the fastest family suppers it is possible to make – followed by some seriously stunning sticky teriyaki aubergine.
