UNITED RATED

- BY TYRONE MARSHALL

SERGIO ROMERO

Very little to do until the goal and it showed. Lack of movement to get across to Cantwell shot.

DIOGO DALOT

Hadn’t played since March 5 and never looked like shaking his rust off. His passing was poor and crossing wayward.

ERIC BAILLY

A few heart-in-mouth moments as he tried to sort his feet out and should have cleared before equaliser.

HARRY MAGUIRE

Could have closed Cantwell down for the goal. Did try and add impetus to the game from the back – and hit late winner.

LUKE SHAW

One of United’s better performers. Norwich rarely threatened down his flank and a contribution for the goal.

SCOTT McTOMINAY

Tried to offer some energy and bite to United’s midfield, but his enthusiasm didn’t spread in a poor first half.

FRED

United’s best passer, the Brazilian gradually took a grip of the game and got United on the front foot.

BRUNO FERNANDES

Undoubtedly his worst game for the club. Fluffed a good chance early in the second half and too many tricks.

JUAN MATA

A player who relies on rhythm and it looked the case. Too slow in possession and failed to offer any spark.

JESSE LINGARD

Started brightly and had United’s first two shots, but drifted out of the game, not quite doing enough.

ODION IGHALO

Becoming Mr. Reliable in attack. Fed on scraps in the first half but when the chance came he took it brilliantly.
