Pogba: We have to keep pushing to get top four

- By DOMINIC BOOTH

PAUL Pogba has urged United to keep getting victories as they push for a top-four place.

The Reds midfielder scored his first goal since April 2019 in another 3-0 win on Thursday night as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side swept aside Aston Villa.

“We’re really pleased with ourselves but we know we have to carry on, we talk before the game and before training that we have to carry on, that’s what Manchester United is,” said the World Cup winner.

“It’s a big club, we want to keep the level up always, the performances in the past few weeks are very good and they are the standard of Manchester United.

“We have to play like we did now, how we finished the game, we have to carry on like this.

“We didn’t win the Premier League, that’s the goal, obviously we have to keep working, there’s a lot to do.”

Pogba also lauded 18-year-old Mason Greenwood, who bagged his fourth goal in three appearances.

He admitted he’s enjoying playing alongside the talented teenager.

“It’s very good, I enjoy the play up front, I enjoy this kid in training and in the game,” he said.

“I will keep pushing him to be at the top, he can do even more, what he’s doing now is showing his talent

“He’s showed he can play in this team.”
