Vandals wreck memorial garden for school pupil
VANDALS caused a ‘large amount of damage’ to the grounds of a primary school – including a memorial garden to a former pupil.
Toys, play areas and a forest school were also wrecked in the incident at Tithe Barn Primary in Stockport.
Police say they are ‘deeply saddened’ by the attack and added the memorial garden had been paid for by fundraising and ‘held a lot of sentimental value’.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses.
The damage is thought to have occurred between 4pm on Friday, July 3, and 6.30am on Tuesday, July 7.
