Victim treated after assault
A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was attacked at a property in Salford.
Police and paramedics were called to Saltergate Mews at around 6.15am yesterday morning to reports that a man had been assaulted.
A man, in his 60s, was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. He has since been released, police said.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
Local residents reported seeing a large police presence on Saltergate Mews.
Three police cars and one ambulance could be seen parked outside a property, they said.
