MANCHESTER CITY COUNCILTEM­PORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC1235737­09: The City of Manchester (Back George Street, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary Prohibitio­n of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2021 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Back George Street from its junction with Nicholas Street to its junction with Charlotte Street. The alternativ­e routes for traffic will be: Nicholas Street, Booth Street, Fountain Street, Spring Gardens, York Street, New York Street, Faulkner Street, Charlotte Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibitio­n is necessary in order to facilitate new virgin media ducts. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 23rd November 2021. The order shall come into operation on the 23rd November 2021 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC1239841­99: The City of Manchester (Ashover Avenue, Ardwick Ward) (Temporary Prohibitio­n of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2021 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Ashover Avenue from Clowes Street to Haverford Street. The alternativ­e routes for traffic will be: Haverford Street, Clowes Street. and Vice Versa The City Council is satisfied that this prohibitio­n is necessary in order to facilitate utilities work. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 11th November 2021. The order shall come into operation on the 11th November 2021 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
