What’s on your little one’s Christmas list this year?

(Image: © Richard Walker / ImageNorth) With the festive season just around the corner, it’s a good time to get your children talking about what’s on their wishlist. Sending a letter to Santa is a fun and interactive way to get involved in the magic of Christmas, and is a traditional part of the countdown that children of all ages love to do.

To help families get even more excited, the celebration experts at Card Factory are launching a special letter writing service for little ones to send their wishlist to the North Pole.

In every store across the UK, you’ll be able to post letters to Santa via a magical festive postbox.

You can either print out a letter-writing template at home via Card Factory’s website and bring that in, or your child can write their own.

Then it’s time to get it stamped, popped in the special postbox and sent off to the man himself - and they’ll even get a special thankyou video message from Santa in return. It’s hoped that this fun initiative helps to bring families together over the festive season, and it’s a great way to get little ones prepared for the big day.

Celebrate together

The festive postboxes can be found in every Card Factory store in the UK (Image: © Richard Walker / Image North) Adam Dury, chief commercial officer at Card Factory, said: “With Christmas last year being something of a write-off, it’s even more important this year to make the most of it. “We are encouraging parents to bring their children along to one of our stores, where they can let Santa know exactly what they’d like for Christmas by posting a letter to him using our festive postboxes.”

The festive postboxes will be in store until the 30th November, so make sure to visit and post your letters before then so that they reach Santa in time!

To make things even more Christmassy, parents can then scan a QR code on the postbox which will bring up a video from Santa himself, thanking the children for getting their letters posted.

Send a smile

The fun doesn’t stop once the letters to Santa have been posted.

Capture the memory forever by snapping a picture of your little ones taking part in the activity - the more festive, the better. Then, by uploading your Christmas picture to Instagram or Twitter and using the hashtag #SendasmileCF, you could even be in with the chance of winning an amazing prize.

Five lucky people will receive a £1000 voucher* each to be used in a huge range of high street shops - ideal for those lastminute Christmas presents, or just as a special treat.
