Former football managers

-

AS Ole Gunnar Solskjaer departs as manager of Manchester United, our nostalgia quiz this week focuses on some of the characters who’ve vacated the hot seat at the city’s football clubs down the years.

They include George Poyser, Ron Saunders and the ebullient Malcolm Allison from Manchester City as well as United bosses Wilf McGuinness and Frank O’Farrell.

Both found it almost impossible to follow in Sir Matt Busby’s footsteps.

How well do you remember sacked City and United managers? Why not test your knowledge in our quiz and compare your score with friends.
