The Zen difference: Residents in Bolton now have access to broadband from a provider committed to doing the right thing

THE AWARD-WINNING SERVICE IS NOW AVAILABLE ACROSS BOLTON

-

Residents in Bolton now have access to award-winning and environmentallyconscious broadband services, thanks to Zen Internet. As the largest B Corp certified telecommunications provider in the UK, Zen is working with CityFibre, the UK’s largest independent full fibre platform, to transform the area’s connectivity.

The new service is already available to many homes in the area with prices starting at £29.99 per month. Zen is following the CityFibre rollout across the city with thousands of new homes being added every month.

AWARD-WINNING SERVICE

A people-first business dedicated to giving its customers the best experience, Zen is the UK’s only Which? recommended provider for broadband 2021.

The great thing about being a Which? Recommended Provider is that it’s chosen by real people. More than 4,000 customers of the UK’s Internet Service Providers are surveyed, and the scores awarded are based on their feedback. For speed, reliability, customer service, technical support, ease and speed of contact, ease of setup and value for money, Zen was the only provider to score top marks which is given as a four-star rating in every category.

Zen has also previously been named the PC Pro Best Broadband ISP for 18 consecutive years and has a Trustpilot TrustScore of 4.2 in an industry where most, including the four major providers hover between one and two. The Zen experience is underpinned by a team of enthusiastic support experts based only in the UK.

Paul Stobart, CEO at Zen Internet, said: “At a time when the nation continues to be heavily dependent on internet connectivity for hybrid working, entertainment and staying connected, reliable broadband has never been more important.

“To come out top of the Which? annual broadband survey, for the last five years, is an achievement that makes all of us at Zen very proud. This independent survey gives us an invaluable view of how we are doing as providers of what is an increasingly critical service for everyone.”

A FORCE FOR GOOD

As well as award-winning service, residents of Bolton can have peace of mind they are accessing a reliable service from a business committed, through its B Corporation certification,

to having a positive impact on the planet.

As one of only 500 B Corps in the UK, Zen joins another 150 companies that have also committed to Net Zero by 2030 with Zen committed to reach this goal by 2028. A B Corporation is a business that balances purpose and profit, legally required to consider the impact of decisions on workers, customers, suppliers, community and the environment.

Recent attention on telecoms, and the wider technology industry, makes Zen’s pledge a significant shift towards greater positive actions, more accountability and transparency, and acknowledgement of the responsibilities of businesses when it comes to having a positive impact on people and planet.

Stobart added: “At Zen, we believe that making a difference to the world is as important if not more so than making a profit.

“Achieving B Corp certification in 2020 was evidence of our commitment to be a force for good for all of our stakeholders including our people, our customers, our suppliers, the communities we serve and the environment within which we live; our pledge to be Net Zero by 2028 is the logical next step in our journey.

“We hope that residents of Bolton will choose Zen as their broadband partner, safe in the knowledge that we will always strive to serve our customers to the very best of our ability and do the right thing by all our stakeholders.”
