NICKELODEON has announced a brand new outdoor immersive event and it’s coming to Manchester this summer as part of a UK tour.

The Nickelodeon Experience, sponsored by Cry Babies BFF, is a first-of-its-kind attraction from the television channel, and will give kids of all ages the opportunity to step into their favourite Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. shows.

The popular PAW Patrol will be among the programmes being brought to life during the experience at Heaton Park, which promises fun for all the family. Visitors can expect a day out filled with entertainment and non-stop activities to explore.

There’ll be plenty in store for children aged two through to 14 years old, as the worlds of Nickelodeon shows will be brought together across an array of activity zones.

From multi-sensory and interactive adventures to creative and skill-based challenges, young explorers will get to map out their own journey.

George Wood, founder of The Luna Cinema, which is working with Paramount Global to organise the event, said: “We cannot wait for the launch of The Nickelodeon Experience this summer.

For years we’ve wanted to develop a truly interactive experience that allowed kids to immerse themselves in the worlds of their favourite TV shows, just as we do with Friends fans at FriendsFest and film lovers with our Luna Cinema screenings.

“To have such an iconic catalogue of shows, including global brands like PAW Patrol, The Thundermans and SpongeBob SquarePants under the Nickelodeon umbrella is a treasure trove of content to explore and bring to life.”

SuperheroeS to Slime-filled fun

A range of the attractions lined up for The Nickelodeon Experience, which will be open in Manchester from July 23 until August 5, are ideal for seven to 14-year-old adventurers to enjoy.

Head to the Hunter Street Escape Room and race against the clock to solve the mystery, which will put teamwork to the test in an attempt to crack the code and find the key. Then perfect your powers at The Thundermans’ School for Superheroes.

Meanwhile, Henry Danger is sure to provide the ultimate challenge during this summer family day out. Nickelodeon fans must navigate Henry Danger’s Maze of secret twists, turns, puzzles and passages.

And don’t miss the Slime Time experience - filled with interactive fun for kids - for the ultimate Nick badge of honour of being slimed. There you’ll be able to spin levers, turn wheels and, of course, touch the gooey slime.

Nick Jr. fans aged seven and under can take a trip to Adventure Bay where there’ll be a chance to meet PAW Patrol’s fan-favourites Chase and Marshall.
