ALAN CARR’S ADVENTURES WITH AGATHA CHRISTIE Tonight, More4, 9pm

The Chattyman and Agatha Christie fanboy is going on a very personal Great British adventure inspired by his literary heroine. Armed with facts about the Poirot author’s life, Alan visits the quintessen­tially British locations that captivated Christie and her readers.

Tonight, he meets the Rev Richard Cole, visits Burgh Island and Greenway House in Devon, and goes behind the scenes of the world’s longest running play of 70 years, The Mousetrap, to discover the secrets of its longevity and success.

WHY IS MY CAR SO EXPENSIVE?: DISPATCHES Tomorrow, Channel 4, 8pm

The cost of both new and secondhand cars is soaring. So what’s behind the surge in prices? Can it all be put down to global factors like the war in Ukraine, Covid and supply chain problems?

Motoring journalist Ginny Buckley asks if there is more going on and finds a car industry that’s making

huge profits. Ginny also looks at the knock-on effects, such as rising car crime, and crashed cars with a hidden history being sold for a premium, as she advises how to make sure you don’t get ripped off.

CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF Tuesday, BBC1, 8pm

All Saints member and solo musician Melanie Blatt, TV presenter and musician Gareth Malone, former world boxing champion Chris Eubank, actor Cliff Parisi and reality star MoJo take part in the

culinary contest’s second heat.

Their first challenge is Under The Cloche – in which each celeb has a silver serving cloche in front of them, beneath which is an ingredient.

Each has a different ingredient and, along with the MasterChef kitchen’s larder, they must create one dish from scratch that

showcases that ingredient.

HEATHROW: BRITAIN’S BUSIEST AIRPORT Wednesday, ITV, 9pm

It’s the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and while the nation is celebratin­g, Heathrow is entertaini­ng a

72-strong military aircraft flypast, 5,500ft above its runways. Although the airspace is closed to commercial flights for 20 minutes, passengers waiting to board flights have a ringside view of the Red Arrows on their way to Windsor Castle.

Meanwhile, a mother and daughter race to catch their flight to South Africa to attend a funeral, but the correct paperwork is missing. Can passenger experience manager Harry can come to the rescue?

Carpenter Martyn feels as though he has lost his way over the years.

In steps Cherry Healey who, over the course of 10 days, takes him to a dance class to remind him of the importance of self-care – and to help him come out of his shell.

Then, his inner fashionist­a is awakened by stylist Gemma Sheppard, before he bravely decides to give some male grooming a go.

Also receiving a helping hand is Lynn, who wants to rediscover her mojo, before reuniting with her husband in Australia.

home brew and head to Loch Leven to try birdwatchi­ng in the company of a couple of keen twitchers.

The comedian hosts an all-star version of Name That Tune.

Sports presenter Gabby Logan, actors Shane Richie and Richard Blackwood, and radio DJ Vick Hope will try to identify songs played by a house band in the shortest time possible hoping to get a chance of winning the £25,000 jackpot.

Singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor makes a guest appearance at the piano.
