You can’t beat going to an event dedicated to motorcycling. Whether it’s a round of Moto GP, BSB or a day wandering around the cavernous halls at the NEC for November’s Motorcycle Live. There are a whole host of awesome goings on up and down the land on any given day that enable us to immerse ourselves in the weird (sometimes) and wonderful (always) world of motorcycling. You pays your money and you takes your choice. What makes the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show so special is that it has a bit of glitz and glamour and yet feels accessible, intimate even. With an army of biking experts on hand in each of the four zones, you can grab a pew and listen to the men who have actually done stuff. Better still, you can ask them questions and pick their brains for some hard-earned advice. You can get up close and personal to John McGuinness, John Reynolds, Chris Walker, Neil Hodgson and Tommy Hill too. They will be letting it all hang out in the Slide show, but they will also be making appearances on the zone stages to talk about life in the fast lane. And the Joey Dunlop exhibition will also feel like a private viewing of the great man’s workshop. Some of his most famous machines will be on display and a stack of personal belongings and memorabilia will also be on show for the first time outside of Ireland. Oh, and there will be hundreds of new-for-2016 bikes to sling a leg over! And finally, if you upgraded your ticket using the special offer, don’t forget to collect your toolkit at the show.
