Scotland gets set to party

-

The first-ever MCN Scottish Motorcycle Festival is now just days away. Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, July 21-22 at The Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh, the event promises to be the ultimate weekend of biking bliss!

There’s loads to see and do but one of the star attractions will be the opportunity to test the new Yamaha Niken. No single bike has divided the motorcycling community as much and the feeling from the twin-wheel front end really is unique. Yamaha are just one of many manufacturers offering free test rides over the weekend including Harley-Davidson, CCM, Indian, Suzuki, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Kawasaki, KTM and Husqvarna.

If you want to make a weekend of it and camp from Friday, then you’ll also get a full weekend of live music and entertainment including Dirty Harry (a superb Blondie tribute band), the unmissable Just Jovi and Shardlake, an electrifying five-piece from Glasgow. They’ll be turning it up to 11 with some of the greatest rock anthems of all time: from AC/DC to Led Zeppelin and from Rainbow to Guns ’n’ Roses.

Tickets start at £18 and you can

Make a weekend of it and see some great bands too

book via mcnscottishfestival.co.uk. Away from the main stage, there is a custom bike zone hosted by House of Custom, a classic bike village and a classic parade. There will be stunts galore too from the Two Brother Racing team plus the usual daftness from the Purple Helmets (right).
