CC Racing Garage win Ducati Scrambler custom comp
AScrambler 1100 Sport Pro customised by CC Racing Garage has taken the top honours in Ducati’s Custom Rumble competition. The ‘Scrambler 1100 FT’ was built by Italian Marco Graziani, who entered the bike into the ‘Bully’ class. The awards were to be held at the Bike Shed Show in London, but due to the coronavirus situation, the ceremony was held online. Over 70 bikes were entered into the competition from dealers around the globe, with a public vote to whittle it down to five. From there a panel of judges that included Bike Shed founder Anthony ‘Dutch’ Van Someren, actor and bike nut Nicholas Hoult and Ducati riders Chaz Davies and Andrea Dovizioso picked their winner. As it happens they went for the public’s favourite. Graziani started with an 1100 Sport Pro, the highest spec model of current Scrambler, with a vision of making something sportier still that also maintained the character of the original model. He insisted on keeping the headlight, frame, subframe, swingarm, engine and tank

stock as he considered them the key elements of the Scrambler. The fairing around the subframe and seat have been custom made. The new shape gives the bike a sportier look, that’s echoed by the tiny fly screen over the light. The clocks have been tucked in, along with the controls. The performance has been given a boost too with a new pipe, front brakes and a set of spoked wheels for a classic finish.
