Two Wheels for Life auction goes online for Xmas

-

2020 has been a tough year for a lot of people, but it’s also been tricky for charities and the people they help, too. Two Wheels for Life are the official MotoGP charity and in a typical year they hold numerous fund raising events to raise money for their causes, most of which involve improving access to, and the quality of, healthcare in rural Africa.

This year the majority of Two Wheels For Life’s income streams have dried up, which has made it difficult for them to fund their life-saving work.

To help plug the gap, the organisation have launched the MotoGP Stars Holiday auction, which is an online-only charity sale that runs until January 3, 2021. There’s a whole host of goodies available to bid on with everything from gloves signed by 2020 MotoGP champ Joan Mir to knee sliders signed by Rossi. You can even get hold of Cal’s last pair of boots.

Some of the auctions have already started but many more of them run until the end of December of even into early January. There are plenty more items to be added, including all the signed boards and track layouts from the 2020 season.

Right now there are things available for all budgets, many starting as low as £50 but the really popular stuff is already in the thousands. To see the items available and to place a bid, head online to: www.charitystars.com/foundation/ two-wheels-for-life.

The 2021 holiday sweepstake is also still open, which could bag you a VIP weekend at the race of your choice next year, with tickets available for as little as £5. The draw runs until January 1, and to enter head to www.twowheelsforlife.org.
