Get set for the MCN Festival

Enter a team and revel in the madness at the Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling

-

Moped Mayhem, the wild and wacky endurance race that was the highlight of the old BMF shows in the 1980s and 90s, is making its longawaited comeback at the Devitt MCN Festival on May 15-16 and you could be on the grid!

Moped Mayhem is the most affordable racing there is, it’s also the most fun with the best paddock atmosphere bar none. Now is the time of year when bargains are being snapped up and bikes prepped, so if you want to be involved in next year’s Festival race you’d better get in the shed and start twirling those spanners. There are three classes of machine eligible to race in Moped Mayhem: 50cc two-stroke geared, 50cc automatic and the Honda C90/ Yamaha 80 class. All engines must come from road-going models but the frame can be modified. It’s a four-hour endurance race so you’ll need between two and four riders aged from 16 to 65.

The best place to start is the Moped Mayhem Events Facebook page. Here you’ll find the full list of regs and an active group including bikes, parts and services for sale. Or you can contact the organisers Rob and Suzi Bull direct on mopedmayhem@outlook.com
