O Indian are offering a tempting travel-pack deal on the fantastic FTR Rally

-

It just got even easier to own an iconic Indian Motorcycle. With dealerships now open, the legendary brand are offering a wealth of deals so you can get the machine you want and explore the open road this summer without a second thought.

New FTR Rally is ready to whisk you away

Whether you decide to take the long or the short road, the 2020 FTR Rally will get you there the exciting way – and now you can prolong the fun that bit more with Indian’s exclusive FTR Rally Travel-Pack offer.

If you walk into an authorised Indian dealership and purchase a new FTR Rally before June 30 2021, you’ll be kitted out with a complementary travel-pack worth £860. The dealership will fit the travel accessories so you are adventure ready, which makes it a great reason to upgrade.

To get your journey started right on the FTR Rally, the pack includes a side bag rack, accessory mounting kit, RAM X-Grip phone mount, rack, messenger bag and tankbag, so you have all the essentials to go on your first long-distance adventure of the year and beyond.

The finely crafted side and tank bags, finished in matching materials, are detachable in seconds and are easy to carry to save the hassle of unloading your luggage at your destination. The X-Grip phone holder will ensure that your mobile phone information, including driving aids like satnav or maps, is always an easy glance away, which gives you the flexibility to be more adventurous and travel more frequently.

The FTR Rally cuts a cool urban image on the street, but that’s just the start. Dig deeper and you’ll see it is much more than just a good-looking motorbike. A supersmooth 123hp V-twin engine delivers power responsively whenever you need it for the twists and turns, while cruise control relaxes the ride on the longer stretches of the journey.

Definitely an FTR

MCN took the FTR Rally out on a road test and found all the best bits of the FTR1200 are present and correct. The engine remains a fabulously flexible road unit, the chassis turns with ease, and there’s a feelgood factor to the riding position and deportment. Tasty details too, such as the cast footpegs and robust engine finish. To allow better control under rough conditions there are ProTaper handlebars with a two-inch greater rise. Given the Rally’s road suspension, size, and weight it’s hard to imagine anyone tackling too much of the rough stuff, but they lend a more convincing scrambler feel. Costing £12,149, the bike is scramblerised with spoked wheels, off-road tyres, altered riding position and the essential brown seat. Oh, and satin Titanium Smoke paint. It sits between the standard FTR on which it’s based (£12,295) and the FTR S with its all-singing electronics, sportier suspension, and touchscreen dash (£13,695). Indian also offer an FTR R Carbon (£15,595) with Akrapovic exhausts and lashings of carbon fibre to make the machine even more exotic and desirable.
