Yamaha confirm bike test fleet for Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycli­ng

The Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycli­ng has always been the best place to swing your leg over the latest models and this year’s event is no different. On September 4-5 the festival will be home to huge test fleets from all the major names. There’s everything from full-on sportsbike­s to fun nakeds. You can even get a ride on an electric mountain bike. Just turn up on the day with your lid and licence.

Yamaha join the party...!

This week sees Yamaha confirm their bikes for the festival. The lineup will include their new Tracer 9 GT (see our full MCN250 test on page 31), the hot new MT-09 SP, new retro XSR125 and the popular MT-07.

Festival-goers will also be able to ride the new MT-09, Tracer 7 GT, Ténéré 700 and the Niken GT*.

And there’s more...!

The Kawasaki fleet includes a wide range of models such as the ZX-10R and Z H2. For something a little less lairy, you can try the Z900RS, Ninja 1000SX Tourer, Ninja 650 and Versys 650. There’s even a safe and secure zone for new riders to try a bike for the first time. The fleet includes: Z650, Versys 650, Ninja 650, Vulcan S, Z900, Z900RS, Ninja ZX-10R, Ninja 1000SX, Versys 1000, Z H2 and Z H2 SE*.

A slice of Italy...

Ducati are bringing along a huge fleet including the new Monster range and the supremely capable Mutlistrad­a V4. The 2021 Monster is the first without the trellis frame and so far the reviews have been glowing – but there’s only one way to be sure it’s the right bike for you, come and ride one at the festival. The Multistrad­a V4, Monster, Scrambler and other 2021 models will be available.*

It’s a Triumph

Triumph’s test fleet boasts the all-new Speed Triple 1200RS and Trident 660. Both models are sure to be popular, so get to the Triumph stand early to book your slot. The fleet includes the Speed Triple 1200RS, Tiger 900, Tiger 850 Sport, Trident 660 plus Bonneville­s.*

Ride a Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield’s range has been transforme­d and the fleet will have all their most exciting models including the new 350cc Meteor. Hop onboard a Continenta­l GT650, Himalayan 400, Intercepto­r 650, Meteor 350 at the festival.*
