Test fleets continue to grow as huge 2021 Devitt MCN Festival gets closer

With nine full test fleets now announced for the Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycli­ng this September 4-5, the East of England Arena in Peterborou­gh will be brimming with bikes ready and waiting for eager riders. Booking is simple: just turn up on the day with your lid and licence. Test rides are included in the ticket price, so it’s the best place to trial machines from different manufactur­ers all in one place. Watch this space as more test fleets will be announced soon! Highlights of this year’s huge Yamaha fleet include the 2021 MT-07, Tracer 9 GT and stunning MT-09 SP. You’ll also have the opportunit­y to ride the retro styled and licence-friendly XSR125.

New 2021 models: MT-09 SP, MT-09, MT-07, Tracer 9 GT, XSR125. Plus: Tracer 7, Ténéré 700, Tracer 7 GT, MT-10 SP, MT-10, MT-09 SP, MT-09, MT-07, MT-03, NIKEN and NIKEN GT.

The star test bike of the Indian fleet has to be the FTR Carbon. With it’s Öhlins suspension, tuning updates and carbon bodywork, the flagship FTR model is sure to be a big hit at this year’s Festival. Both the standard FTR and FTR S will also be available to ride. The fleet in full is: Scout Bobber 20, FTR, FTR S, FTR Carbon, Chief Dark Horse.

If you want to try an electric motorcycle then head for the Zero Motorcycle­s stand where there will be five models to choose from. The SR/S, SR/F and FXR models are full power, while A1 or B licence holders will have the option of trying the 11kw DS and S models
