‘Scottish sunshine cruise’
R5K MEMBERS JO FISHER AND PAUL MURPHY
We set off from our home in Caputh, Perthshire and went around some of our favourite local roads. We headed up the Sma’ Glen to Aberfeldy, Pitlochry, Kirkmichael and Blairgowrie. The best bit was 20 degrees with wall-to-wall blue skies.
‘A grand day out’
R5K MEMBER SIMON HUNT
A grand day out with my mates Dom, Andy, Richard, and Dave. We went to Barnard Castle, Tan Hill, the Buttertubs Pass, Hawes and more. The highlight was probably the Buttertubs for its swoopy quick roads! It’s one of our favourite loops from Durham.
‘Stretching our legs’
R5K MEMBER ROB BLAKE
Stretching our legs a bit today – 80 miles through the local Californian ski resorts on my new Ducati SuperSport. Time to start planning some bigger trips and tours. This is just what I needed, and I am starting to appreciate the great suspension.
‘Minibike adventure’
R5K MEMBER MIKE TAYLOR
We rode our Honda C90s down to Lindisfarne to meet William, who had come up from Gateshead on his Grom for a coffee and a wander around the island.
‘Great roads and good friends’
R5K MEMBER TOM BOYLE
I bagged this selfie at the Roundhouse Takeaway, at Loch Doon, during a ride. The cracking weather made all the difference – as did the route – taking in A- and B-roads and some single tracks. Something for everyone. I also had a few friends to keep me company.
‘Holiday riding’
R5K MEMBER PAUL AND COLLEEN KEARNEY
A rare ride out with the wife whilst on holiday in the Dominican Republic. We borrowed a Harley-Davidson instead of our usual Triumph. It was most enjoyable in a lovely climate.
