Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory(2004-2010)
Facelifted V-twin superbike appeared in 2004 as the Noale firm’s Ducati 999 rival but never quite matched it either in racing victories or sales despite handsome looks, muscular 143bhp performance, decent track manners (particularly for taller riders) and, in Factory spec, exquisite equipment of the multiadjustable Öhlins suspension, topline radial-mounted Brembo brakes and forged aluminium Marchesini wheels variety. Today, however, it’s considered a bargainpriced superbike for (tall) connoisseurs. What you’ll pay today As little as £4200 but you’ll definitely get a good one for under £5k. But should you? Oh yes.
A little extreme on road, but a great track bike at a mouth-watering price.
