Wunderlich cockpit fairing for BMWR 1200 R from £159

Just because a bike’s naked when it comes out of the factory doesn’t mean it has to stay naked for good. This nose fairing is for the latest generation of BMW’s naked R1200R and it fits around the headlight to add a little wind protection and also clean up the slightly messy looks around the back of the clocks. It’s made from lightweight ABS plastic and Wunderlich reckon it picks up styling cues from the fairings on the original R80GS Dakar models back in the 1970s. They’re £159 in ready-topaint primer finish or for £329 they come in white with red stripes or grey with silver stripes. They come with all fittings and mount simply without the need to remove the indicators.
