Who is Stephen Davison?

Stephen Davison has been ‘poking his head through hedges’ since the 1970s, watching titanic battles between Irish legends like Ray McCullough, Brian Reid and Joey and Robert Dunlop. He has become one of road racing’s most respected photographers and writers, but he remains, above all, a road race fan. And over those four decades one year stands out as being particularly special. 2004 was a unique season on the Irish roads, and here he shares his thoughts and insights on that incredible season.
