What’s the best soft Q option for my Euro blast?

-

I’m planning a trip to Europe for a couple of weeks soon and I would like to get some soft panniers for the trip. I have a Yamaha MT-09 Tracer. What are the best bags for me? Lee Finney, Carshalton

I always recommend going large with these sorts of bags as you can make them smaller, but you can run out of space with small bags quickly. The latest version of the well-proven Oxford range, the P60R, comes in several colours with features like heatproof bases, and should also suit the lines of your bike. The RiDE-recommended QBag panniers claim a per bag (expanded) 20-30-litre capacity. I don’t think you’ll be wanting for space with the Richa Designer bags with their claimed 63 to 84-litre capacity. The Kappa racer RA310 almost doubles in size from 34 to 60 litres when opened up. The bargain bags in this market are the 48-litre Buffalo Sports Panniers.
