ROAD SUPERMONO ALL SHOW, NO GO

Ducati revealed plans for a road-going version of its Supermono road bike. The 550cc single cylinder racer had proved popular in European race series and a supercharged road version was hotly anticipated. Even Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche was excited: “I’d love to see the Supermono on the road. A supercharged road bike would be great.” Unfortunately it never happened!
