Strapping-in

Load your bike without any drama

-

Tie-down point

You’ll need to make sure there are tie-down points in the front and back corners, as well as the middle of the van on each side. To push the bike into the van, use either a ramp, or strong scaffolding plank.

Securing tie

With the front wheel touching the van’s bulkhead, cable-tie the front brake lever on and put the bike in gear. If you’re putting a bike in on its own, the best way is to use a pair of handlebar straps.

Strap it down

Attach ratchet straps to the two front tie-down points and then hook them through the bar straps. Find a point near your footrest hangers and loop a strap between these and your middle tie points.

Pull her forward

Both sets of straps should be pulling the bike down and forwards so it sits tightly to the bulkhead. Don’t go too overboard though – you could snap your footrest hanger!
