New CB1000R lands in the UK
Honda’s new CB1000R is now in UK dealers. The super-naked has had rave reviews so far and MCN’s acting consumer editor Dan Sutherland rode one of the first in the country during a trip to the Isle of Man.
He said: “It’s a really nice package. With 143bhp and 77ftlb of torque, there is great acceleration from low down in the revs and plenty of midrange. “Although not as brutal as rivals such as Yamaha’s MT-10 and KTM’s 1290 Super Duke R, it’s no slouch, remaining planted as we climbed past the 125mph mark over the Mountain Section of the course.”
Prices start at £11,229 for the standard bike and climb to £12,229 for the accessorised CB1000R+.
