Tested by Matt Wildee, 1000 miles, three months Although the quality is unquestionable, I’ve failed to warm to this one. The best thing about it is its waterproofing. With welded seams and a fold-over opening, I’ve ridden with it in downpours and nothing gets in. There are downsides, however. Held claim a capacity of 20-30 litres, but if you fold the opening all the way down, you’re looking at a capacity closer to the smaller figure. Even then, the top closure catches the wind and the shoulder adjustment straps flail in the breeze, as there is nothing to hold them in place. The back padding is a bit scant too, so you feel the contents digging in. An Oxford Aqua B-25 does the same job for slightly less.
