UK round hangs in the balance

WSB and Donington bosses will meet in Madrid next Monday to discuss the future of the UK WSB Round. With the new Northern Irish track at Lake Torrent looking ever more unlikely, the future of the race remains unclear. Speaking to MCN, Stuart Higgs said: “Donington was poorly attended and not viable in its current format. Our feedback (to Dorna) will be that single races on Saturday and Sunday simply don’t work in the UK.”
