The second Supersport was the only race of the week which didn’t see a new lap record, but it wasn’t without its dramas. Dean Harrison grabbed the lead at Glen Helen on the opening lap, holding a two second advantage over first race winner Michael Dunlop. This time, however, Dunlop couldn’t find an answer to the Yorkshireman’s speed and that lead became even more comfortable after Dunlop received a 30 second penalty for speeding in pit lane. Harrison ended up comfortably taking the win from Peter Hickman and James Hillier. Conor Cummins was fourth ahead of Dunlop.
