The Grooming Clinic’s Steven O’neill explains why going green will not only boost your eco cred, but your skin, too

This post-shave tonic does a similar job for your skin. “Cucumber balances the acid mantle, your skin’s protective barrier,” says O’neill, while eucalyptus and peppermint cool razor burn. A tree-mendous combination.
04 Bulldog Original Moisturiser £6 Bulldog has long enjoyed a reputation as a credible eco brand: it even has sugar cane packaging, which captures CO2 from the air. There’s goodness inside, too, says O’neill, with Vegetarian Societyapproved ingredients such as soothing aloe vera and anti-inflammatory green tea – all of which will help you look a little less ruff.
05 Clarinsmen AntiFatigue Eye Serum £30 Clarins is big on biodiversity, supporting projects that plant medicinal flora around the world. It then draws on those ingredients to craft its products.
