This Dutch outfit have evolved their post-hardcore sound into something altogether more complex, incorporating shimmering post-black metal and monumental drones into their own brand of agony. What Will Be Lost is as emotive as it is incredibly heavy; opener What Will Be Lost/won’t Happen Again

brings a palpable level of sorrow to vocalist Niels Koster’s otherwise desperate cries. The shift that comes with Ceremony is a welcome reprieve from the intensity of Constant Failure and the use of drawn-out, feedbacking drones moves their pain into another dimension. As the track segues into Patterns Rise,

the rage is once again at full throttle and doesn’t abate until Ready To Fall
