HELLO! HOW ARE YOU DOING? Alexandra James (vocals): “We are staying evil!”
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO START THE ‘SINDAY SERVICE’ LIVE-STREAMS? Zachary James (guitars): “We wanted to commune with everyone and provide a little entertainment, laughs (screams) and of course Satanic ritual while we were in lockdown. Since we don’t know when we’ll be touring, it’s diabolical to get to interact with fans in that way.”
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE ONE? Alexandra: “They take place in our Satanic Ritual Chamber, in our home here in LA. We have a segment called ‘666 questions’, where we answer fans’ questions. We usually tell bad Satanic jokes and invent puns… one episode we asked people to help name our sourdough starter. There were a lot of good suggestions from the audience: Breadlial, Baguettephomet, Number Of The Yeast… it was hysterical. We also perform a Satanic ritual, typically drawn from rituals we’ve done onstage, including a Satanic communion where we consume the body and blood of Satan. After the services, we premiere a live, stripped-back performance of one of our songs, which we call ‘Stripped From The Crypt’. They’re on our Youtube channel!”

Zachary: “In times of uncertainty, it’s important to incorporate rituals of grounding, balancing, and communion with the Self. Divination is a particularly diabolical way to receive guidance and communicate with the Higher Self. This can be through Tarot, runes, pendulums, or anything that opens up a line of symbolic communication with the subconscious. We also recommend keeping a grimoire. Automatic writing processes can be very effective in opening a channel to the Self, too.”

Zachary: “No rest for the wicked! We’re busy doing the Devil’s work! For us, isolation and solitude is very conducive to creativity and magick. We’ve also been using our platform in the fight to dismantle systemic racism and support the Black Lives Matter movement.”
HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON ANY NEW MUSIC?
Alexandra: “We have! We are always working on new music. But we can’t divulge all of our secrets as far as the sound or when it may be released. We’d have to sacrifice you first to tell you.”
WHAT ARE YOUR OTHER PLANS? Zachary: “We hope to help usher in and birth the new aeon of Babalon and help spread the demonic message that Satan loves all their children.”
