ESS GLYNNE’S fans think she should RRatherth Be less ‘entitled’titld’ after she claimedd she was a victim of ‘discrimination’ when a posh Mayfair restaurant turned her away for wearing a hoodie and sweatpants. The chart-topper received very little sympathy from followers when she named and shamed Sexy Fish for not reneging on their posh dress code. Whipping out the world’s smallest violin in a long Instagram rant, the Take Me Home singer, 30, moaned: ‘Dear @sexyfishlondon, I turned up to your restaurant looking like this. You looked me and my friend up and down and said, “No you can’t come in”, and your restaurant was EMPTY.’
She then fumed: ‘I then went to @amazonicolondon who greeted me and my friend with pure joy and we had a banging meal with wicked service. ‘@sexyfishlondon please check yourself if this is how you treat people. It’s rude, off-putting, embarrassing and definitely not inviting.’ Then targeting workers returning from lockdown, she whined: ‘We were made to wait and 2 members of staff came to look at us and make a decision based on our appearance.
‘I think the attitude of your staff needs to change as that was pure discrimination. Thanks and bye (sic).’ But some followers couldn’t stomach her attitude.
One commented: ‘Wow poor you... I can’t believe you even have the nerve to post about “discrimination”.’ Another fan wrote: ‘Discrimination is being refused service because of the colour of your skin, not for violating a dress code.’ One fan hissed: ‘1st world problems boo hoo.’
While another of her 7 7,000 followers pointed out: ‘The website has a dress code outlining no sportswear. You can’t expect them to bend the rules for you because you’re a celebrity.’ However, rapper Professor Green, 36, reckoned her rant was justified, adding: ‘Can’t lie, you didn’t miss out on anything food wise.’
