Maxwell to appear in court for the first time

GHISLAINE MAXWELL will appear in court for the first time on Tuesday to face charges that she recruited girls for Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse.

US district judge Alison J. Nathan set the date as she announced special arrangements to allow public access to the video link in a room usually set aside for the jury at Manhattan federal court.

Maxwell, 58, was arrested last week at her $1million hideaway in New Hampshire.

Three women claim they were recruited by the socialite and sexually abused by Epstein between 1994 and 1997.

Maxwell has denied wrongdoing and called some of the claims against her ‘absolute rubbish’.
